Sri Lanka, June 6 -- Three officials, including a Deputy Commissioner of the Motor Traffic Department, have been further remanded until the 20th of this month.

They were arrested on suspicion of accepting a bribe amounting to nearly 4.2 million rupees.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali made the order after reviewing submissions made by the Bribery Commission and defence lawyers during the court hearing.
