Srilanka, Feb. 15 -- A ten-year-old boy and two others have been hospitalised with critical injuries following a head-on collision between a private bus and a three-wheeler in the Malwatta area of Godakawela.

The collision occurred at approximately 6 am today (15) on the main Ratnapura-Embilipitiya road.

According to Godakawela Police, the private bus was transporting a group of pilgrims from Hungama to Nallathanniya for the Sri Pada season.

The three-wheeler was travelling from Wadduwa towards Kataragama when the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the three-wheeler, the young boy, and another passenger sustained severe injuries to their heads and legs in the crash.
