Sri Lanka, Feb. 7 -- Three suspects wanted for multiple crimes in Sri Lanka have been extradited from Dubai and brought to the island by a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) team.

Police stated that Interpol had issued red notices for the suspects based on local police notifications.

Among them is Ranmuni Mahesh Hemantha Silva, wanted for the shooting of five people near the Beliatta-Kahawatta expressway entrance on January 22 last year. Pradeep Sadaruwan, alias Chandana, was arrested for the attempted murder of Gihan Madushanka, alias Raja, in Wellampitiya on June 18 last year. The third suspect, Nadakandage Upali, alias Rotumba Upali, is wanted for an attack with sharp weapons in Akuressa in 2008.
