Sri Lanka, Jan. 26 -- A collision involving three buses at Angulugaha Junction in Imaduwa, Galle, injured 29 passengers, who were subsequently hospitalized.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. today (26) and involved two private buses and one office transport bus. Police revealed that the incident began when a stationary bus was struck by a moving bus, followed by a third bus colliding with the second one.
Hospital authorities reported that 23 passengers were admitted to Imaduwa Hospital, while six others, including four in critical condition, were transferred to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
Authorities are conducting investigations to determine the exact cause of the accident.
