Sri Lanka, May 17 -- Foreign reports indicate that thousands of people, including children, are suffering from hunger in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing conflict.

International media state that the delivery of medical supplies and other aid has been completely blocked for over ten weeks as Israel intensifies its military operations.

Children and adults living in displacement camps in Gaza are reportedly facing severe hardship due to the lack of food and water.

The United Nations has also issued a warning to Israel regarding this critical situation.
