Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- The first phase of the third school term for government and government-approved private schools begins today (18).

This phase will run until October 17.

The second phase of the third term is scheduled to start on November 17 and will conclude on December 19.

Meanwhile, the third school term for Muslim schools will commence on August 25.
