Srilanka, Nov. 20 -- The saga that is the repatriation of two elephants gifted from Thailand to Sri Lanka had its latest development yesterday (19).

Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Suchart Chomklin, had an audience with Sri Lankan Ambassador in Thailand, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe. Taking to Facebook, the Thai Deputy PM noted that they discussed cooperation guidelines on the two Thai Elephants.

The duo under discussion are Thai Raja of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic in Kandy and Kandula at the Kelaniya temple.
