Srilanka, Dec. 28 -- Ten foreign nationals were apprehended by the Kollupitiya Police during a raid on a spa that allegedly operated as a front for a prostitution ring.

Acting on information received by the Kollupitiya Police OIC, officers raided the establishment located on Galle Road.

The arrested group includes six Thai nationals, three Vietnamese nationals, and one Chinese national, with their ages ranging between 25 and 50 years.

During the search, police also discovered a quantity of illicit, duty-free cigarettes in the possession of one of the suspects.

The women are scheduled to be produced before the court.
