Sri Lanka, Feb. 11 -- Ten animals have been brought to Sri Lanka from the United Arab Emirates under the National Animal Exchange Program, including two brown bears, two hyenas, and six meerkats.

The hyenas, which arrived yesterday, have been sent to the Rideegama Safari Park, while the other animals have been taken to the Dehiwala National Zoo. According to R. C. Rajapaksa, Director General of the National Zoological Parks Department, the animals will be placed on public display after completing a one-month quarantine period.
