Sri Lanka, July 17 -- Several details have emerged regarding the kidnapping of a 15-year-old schoolboy by a group of individuals in a white van in Kahathuduwa.
Police report that the abducted student managed to escape from the van in the Rathnapura area, saving himself.
The student, a resident of Kahathuduwa, was cycling from his home to attend an extra class yesterday (16), afternoon when a group in a van intercepted him near the Saranathissa Mawatha cemetery and abducted him.
The police stated that the student managed to escape when the van stopped near a shop in the Pelanwadiya area of Rathnapura.
Information has revealed that the abducted student is a firstborn child, leading to suspicions that he may have been taken to Rathnapura...
