Sri Lanka, July 13 -- A suspect has been arrested in connection with aiding and abetting the recent fatal shooting of an individual in the Batuwatta area of Ragama.

The 30-year-old suspect is also a resident of Batuwatta, Ragama.

He was apprehended yesterday morning (12) during a raid conducted by the Kelaniya Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Police confirmed that heroin was also found in the suspect's possession.
