Sri Lanka, Feb. 4 -- A man was arrested in the Panchikawatta area for possession of ICE valued at approximately Rs. 10 million, according to the Homicide and Organised Crime Unit of the Central Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Police recovered 900 grams of the narcotic during the operation. Investigations revealed that the suspect is a close associate of an organised criminal currently operating a drug syndicate from overseas.

Following the arrest, the suspect is scheduled for production before the court today (4).
