Sri Lanka, Jan. 21 -- A man was taken into custody by the Police Special Task Force (STF) for possessing over 60 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as 'Ice,' valued at approximately 18 million rupees. The STF reported that the individual serves as an associate of a major drug trafficker currently in prison.

During the operation, officers seized 61.838 kilograms of the substance along with the three-wheeled vehicle used for transport. The raid took place at Pinnagolla Watta along Araliya Lane in the Nittambuwa police area, conducted by a team from the STF Gonahena Camp under the direction of senior officials.
