Sri Lanka, Feb. 14 -- The Supreme Court has ordered that the petition filed by former minister Manusha Nanayakkara, seeking to prevent his alleged illegal arrest by the Criminal Investigation Department in connection with the South Korean visa incident, be taken up for consideration on June 25.

When the case was called yesterday, deputy solicitor general Lakmali Karunanayake, representing the attorney general, informed the court that the other respondents had not yet received notices.

Accordingly, the court directed the petitioning party to issue notices to the respondents and scheduled the petition for June 25.
