Sri Lanka, Jan. 12 -- The Public Service Commission has appointed President's Counsel Sumathi Dharmawardena to the position of Senior Additional Solicitor General.

A seasoned legal expert with over 32 years of service at the Attorney General's Department, Dharmawardena's elevation follows a vacancy created by the resignation of Senior Additional Solicitor General, Rohantha Abeysuriya PC.
