Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Former State Minister and Member of Parliament Sujeewa Senasinghe has been released on bail today (16), after appearing in court for a case related to the alleged illegal assembly of a luxury motor vehicle valued at approximately Rs. 100 million.

The order was issued by the Fort Magistrate's Court.

Fort Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura had previously ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to produce Senasinghe in court today and submit medical reports confirming his overseas travel for medical treatment.
