Sri Lanka, June 7 -- Officers from the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) have raided and sealed two locations in Obeysekarapura and Ambagaha Junction, Rajagiriya, where numerous foreign-made beauty creams were being sold online with altered manufacturing and expiry dates.

The CAA acted on information regarding the sale of unsuitable foreign cosmetic creams and beauty products.

During the raid at the Obeysekarapura location, officials seized a quantity of foreign cosmetic creams prepared for sale with falsified manufacturing and expiry dates.

Both premises and the seized products have been sealed by the CAA, and legal action will be initiated against the owner of the establishments.
