Sri Lanka, Feb. 11 -- A group of individuals forcibly entered Bomiriya National School and brutally assaulted students engaged in cadet training, resulting in over 10 students being hospitalized this evening (11), according to Principal Asanga Manoj.

The main suspect had previously assaulted several students and returned with a group today to carry out the attack. The principal stated that as the boys were being assaulted, schoolgirls who attempted to escape were also attacked with flower pots, brooms, and other objects.

Six injured girls and five boys have been admitted to Nawagamuwa Regional Hospital, while one student was transferred to another hospital via ambulance. The remaining injured students will be taken to Colombo National H...
