Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya stated that the Milko institution has confirmed that state entities can be rebuilt by stopping fraud and corruption. Speaking at the 'Milko Kirigowi Abhiman' national ceremony held at Temple Trees on February 2, the Prime Minister highlighted the organisation's progress while introducing a new insurance scheme and bonus payments for dairy farmers.
The event served as a platform to recognise the contributions of local dairy producers and formalise social security measures for the sector. The Prime Minister emphasised that transparent management is the key driver behind the current stability and growth of state-run enterprises like Milko.
