Sri Lanka, May 8 -- SriLankan Airlines has temporarily halted its flights to Lahore, Pakistan, citing concerns over the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
The suspension comes as the airline assesses the evolving situation in the region. However, the carrier confirmed that flights to Karachi are unaffected, with operations continuing as scheduled.
While services to Lahore, which were previously operating four times a week, have been paused, SriLankan Airlines emphasised that its flight schedule to India remains unchanged.
Passengers with bookings on the affected route are advised to check with the airline for alternatives and updates.
