Sri Lanka, Jan. 22 -- A group of Parliamentarians from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will travel to Odisha, India, for a private visit. The delegation plans to participate in India's Republic Day celebrations scheduled for 26 January.
Namal Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the SLPP, leads the delegation, which includes former MPs Indika Anuruddha, Sanjeeva Edirimanna, Sampath Athukorala, and Politburo member Milinda Rajapaksa. The itinerary includes an observation tour of the Odisha Disaster Management Centre, recognized globally as a premier institution in its field.
