Sri Lanka, Aug. 30 -- The government of Sri Lanka is focusing on creating new agri-tourism ventures to promote both the agricultural and tourism sectors.
This was revealed by Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra during a recent visit to a livestock farm in Trincomalee.
The Trincomalee farm is being developed as a centre for modern animal production, while also creating community livelihoods through agri-tourism.
The Deputy Minister also stated that plans are being made to integrate the farm with the lives of the people in Trincomalee.
