Sri Lanka, March 27 -- The Sri Lankan Embassy in South Korea has advised Sri Lankan workers to avoid areas affected by the ongoing wildfire.

The embassy in Seoul confirmed that no Sri Lankans have been reported harmed due to the wildfire.

In case of emergencies, Sri Lankans in South Korea are urged to contact the embassy at 2 735 2966, 2 735 2967, or 2 794 2968.

The wildfire, which has devastated South Korea's southeastern region, has claimed 24 lives, including a firefighting helicopter pilot who died in a crash on Wednesday. Over 27,000 people have been forced to evacuate, according to South Korean authorities.
