Sri Lanka, June 17 -- In light of the ongoing military tensions between Iran and Israel, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Lebanon has issued a special advisory to Sri Lankan citizens residing in the country.

The Embassy urges Sri Lankans in Lebanon to remain vigilant and aware of the current situation. They are advised to carry a photocopy of their Lebanese identification card or passport when venturing outdoors.

Furthermore, in case of an emergency, Sri Lankans can contact the Embassy for information by calling 009 61- 81 549 162 or 009 61- 81 363 894.
