Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- Sri Lanka's Minister of Health, Nalinda Jayatissa, has met with his Indian counterparts to discuss strengthening the bilateral healthcare partnership between the two nations. The meeting, which took place on Thursday (28), included India's Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Smt. Anupriya Patel.
The discussions, which were described as cordial, focused on a number of key areas. These included improving Sri Lanka's primary healthcare infrastructure, enhancing the supply of pharmaceuticals, and advancing the use of digital health technologies. They also spoke about acquiring modern medical equipment for healthcare services.
