Sri Lanka, May 4 -- Sri Lanka's women's cricket team clinched a thrilling 3-wicket victory over India in their One Day International encounter today (4).
In the fourth match of the women's tri-series being played on home soil, Sri Lanka successfully chased down the target set by India.
Having won the toss, Sri Lanka elected to bowl first.
India were eventually bowled out for 275 runs.
Sri Lankan bowlers Chamari Athapaththu and Sugandika Kumari, bagged three wickets each.
For India, Richa Ghosh top-scored with 58 runs, while Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 37 runs and Pratika Rawal added 35 runs.
In their chase, Sri Lanka reached the target, scoring 278 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
