Sri Lanka, June 14 -- Consul General Pradeepa Saram recently met with Scott Veenker, Chief Executive at the Committee for Melbourne and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, to discuss Sri Lanka's efforts to diversify its export portfolio.

Sri Lanka is looking beyond traditional exports such as tea, rubber, and apparel, actively exploring new opportunities in sectors including renewable energy, IT services, education, logistics, and electronics.

The Consul General noted that Australia has been identified as a key partner in this diversification initiative.
