Sri Lanka, July 3 -- Sri Lanka is focusing on increasing job opportunities for its workforce in South Korea. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that this matter was discussed yesterday (3) between the Korean Ambassador and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra.

Discussions also centred on boosting the existing number of Korean job placements for Sri Lankan workers and promoting tourism.

Separately, a meeting was also held yesterday between Dr Alireza Delkhosh, the Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra.
