Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- Sri Lanka's third nano-satellite, created with the technical contribution of Sri Lankan engineers, is scheduled to be launched into orbit tomorrow (19).

The satellite, named BIRDS-X DRAGONFLY, was carried to the International Space Station (ISS) via a NASA SPX33 rocket mission launched on August 24.

It is now scheduled to be released from the ISS into its own orbit tomorrow (19) at 2:15 PM Sri Lanka time.

The launch of the BIRDS-X DRAGONFLY marks another significant achievement in Sri Lanka's journey in space technology development.
