Sri Lanka, April 7 -- Sri Lanka's official reserve assets rose by 7.1 percent to USD 6.51 billion in March 2025, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
The increase marks a notable improvement from the USD 6.08 billion recorded in February 2025, reflecting continued efforts to stabilize the country's foreign exchange reserves.
Meanwhile the publication under Section 80 of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Act, No. 16 of 2023 (CBA), namely, the Annual Economic Review 2024, was presented to Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the President and the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, by Dr. P Nandalal Weerasinghe, the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, today (7 April 2025).
