Sri Lanka, June 18 -- Nimal Senadheera has commenced his duties as Sri Lanka's new High Commissioner to Great Britain.

A senior officer with over two decades of experience in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, Senadheera previously served at the Sri Lankan High Commission in South Africa.

He is an alumnus of the University of Peradeniya and holds two postgraduate degrees from universities in England and Australia.
