Sri Lanka, Feb. 21 -- The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) is moving forward with Sri Lanka's first 'Water Battery,' the 600 MW Maha Oya Pumped Storage Hydropower Project.
The project aims to store excess renewable energy, enhance grid stability, and support the country's target of achieving 70% renewable energy by 2030.
