Sri Lanka, April 15 -- Sri Lanka's expressway network has generated a substantial revenue of over Rs.173.5 million during the peak travel period surrounding the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. This income was recorded between April 11 and 14.
According to reports, the total revenue collected during this four-day span reached Rs.173,505,300.
Breaking down the figures, the revenue generated on April 14 alone amounted to Rs.39,006,500, indicating continued high traffic volume as people travelled for the festive season.
