This endorsement is expected to significantly boost the local tourism industry, as the guide directly influences the travel choices of millions of global explorers.
The publication highlights that while Sri Lanka is a year-round destination, travellers should align their visits with the two monsoon patterns: the southwest and south coasts (Hikkaduwa, Galle, Mirissa) are best from November to April, while the east coast (Arugam Bay, Pasikudah, Trincomalee) offers calm seas from May to September.
