Sri Lanka, June 17 -- Sri Lanka has taken steps to relocate its Embassy in Tehran, Iran, due to the escalating military situation in the region, Foreign Minister Vijith Herath announced today.
Speaking in Parliament, the Minister stated that embassy operations are currently being conducted from an alternative location.
Minister Herath further revealed that four Sri Lankan nationals have been injured as a result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, with one individual in a serious condition.
All injured Sri Lankans are reportedly working in Israel, and the Embassy is actively involved in providing necessary assistance and monitoring their situation.
