Sri Lanka, March 7 -- The number of foreign tourists visiting Sri Lanka since the beginning of this year has surpassed 500,000, according to the Tourism Development Authority.
A total of 530,746 tourists have arrived in the country so far, with 37,768 visiting within the first five days of this month alone.
