Sri Lanka, Feb. 27 -- Asela Gunaratne and Chinthaka Jayasinghe powered Sri Lanka Masters to a seven-wicket victory over South Africa Masters in the International Masters League 2025, despite a classy half-century from Hashim Amla.

Chasing 181, Sri Lanka Masters got off to a strong start with Kumar Sangakkara and Upul Tharanga adding 50 runs before South Africa fought back, reducing them to 69/3. Gunaratne (59*) and Jayasinghe (51*) then took control, putting together an unbroken 114-run stand to seal the win in just 17.2 overs.

Earlier, Amla's elegant 76 off 53 balls provided a solid foundation for South Africa Masters, but it wasn't enough to stop Sri Lanka's dominant chase.
