Sri Lanka, Feb. 7 -- Taking a significant step towards transforming the country into a digital society, three new digital initiatives was introduced (07) at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Disanayake.

The Sri Lankan government today (07) launched three key digital initiatives, including the 'GovPay' platform, to digitize government payments and advance the country's transition to a digital society.

The initiatives include the 'GovPay' platform for digitalizing all government payments, the expansion of the President's Fund services to Divisional Secretariats, and the introduction of the Electronic Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificates (EBMD) facility, allowing Sri Lankans abroad to obtain cert...
