Sri Lanka, May 12 -- Minister of Health Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa has been elected as the President of the Sri Lanka-India Parliamentary Friendship Association for the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka.

This was during the establishment of the Association on May 8 at the Parliament complex, under the patronage of the Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka, Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.

High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, H.E. Santosh Jha, was invited as the Guest of Honour at the meeting.
