Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Sri Lanka is currently hosting the seventh Regional Committee Meeting for Asia and the Pacific of the International Solar Alliance (ISA).

The global intergovernmental organisation counts Sri Lanka as a member and the Vice President for the Asia and Pacific region. The meeting, which began on the 15th of July, will run until the 17th of July.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya inaugurated the event today. The theme of the meeting is "Advancing Solar Collaboration Across a Region of Diversity and Opportunity."
