Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism has announced that the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel (PIBA) has informed them that Israel's international airports are currently not operating at full capacity due to the prevailing conflict with Iran.

Consequently, Sri Lanka has temporarily halted the deployment of its citizens for employment in Israel.

This directive applies to all selected job aspirants for Israeli employment.

Furthermore, Sri Lankan nationals currently in Sri Lanka on re-entry visas, who are intending to return to their jobs in Israel, are also subject to this temporary suspension.
