Sri Lanka, June 26 -- Sri Lanka enjoyed a stellar day with the bat today (26) against Bangladesh.

Today was the second day of the match being played at the SSC, and the visitors started on 220 for the loss of 8 wickets.

27 runs were added to the tally before the last Bangladesh batsman was dismissed, with their first innings score on 247.

Asitha Fernando and debutant Sonal Dinusha grabbed the remaining two Bangladeshi wickets.

Asitha Fernando finished with 3 wickets, and so did debutant Dinusha.

In Sri Lanka's response, Openers Pathum Nissanka and Lahiru Udara started well, putting on 88 runs for the first wicket.

Udara however, fell for 40.

Dinesh Chandimal then joined Nissanka, and the duo dominated the Bangladeshi bowling.
