Sri Lanka, Jan. 28 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sri Lanka and Italy to establish a political consultancy mechanism.
The MoU aims to promote, strengthen, and expand cooperation in political, economic, commercial, scientific, technological, and cultural sectors. The proposal was submitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employments, and Tourism.
The agreement will be signed between Sri Lanka's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employments and Tourism and Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation.
