Sri Lanka, June 23 -- Sri Lanka and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. The agreement was formalised in Chengdu, China.
Dr. Chrishantha Abeysena, Sri Lanka's Minister of Science and Technology, signed the MOU on behalf of Sri Lanka, while China's Minister of Science and Technology, Yin Hejun, represented China.
This agreement aims to encourage and support collaboration in science, technology, and innovation between the two nations, as well as to find solutions for global challenges within these sectors.
