Sri Lanka, April 11 -- The Prisons Department has announced a special opportunity for prison inmates to receive open visitors in celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

Accordingly, visits will be allowed on April 13 and 14, during which each inmate will be permitted to receive a food parcel, a parcel of sweets, and a parcel containing hygiene products brought by their relatives.
