Sri Lanka, March 12 -- The Railway Department has decided to add several special trains to its service considering the upcoming school holidays and the Sri Pada pilgrimage season.

These special train services will commence with the start of the school holiday period.

Passengers can travel to Hatton Railway Station on the Upcountry Line and continue by bus to Nallathanniya to reach Sri Pada.

General Manager of the Railway Department, J. I. D. Jayasundara, stated that these trains will be added to the service in the coming days.
