Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- The 2026 T-20 World Cup Cricket Tournament begins tomorrow (07) and runs until March 08, with matches scheduled at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Maligawatta and the SSC Stadium in Kurunduwatta.
The Colombo Traffic Division planned a specific traffic arrangement for match days due to the high volume of local and foreign spectators expected. Police officials stated that 1,500 police officers and 600 traffic officers are deployed to ensure the safety of attendees. Authorities also announced a ban on large bags, glass bottles, drones, small sharp knives, drugs, and alcohol within the stadium premises.
