Sri Lanka, March 29 -- The police have taken steps to enhance security across the island's churches, as Sri Lanka continues to grapple with the tragic aftermath of the 2019 Easter Sunday bombings, which claimed the lives of more than 250 individuals and left hundreds injured.

Authorities have announced the implementation of a comprehensive security plan at all churches throughout Sri Lanka. This measure aims to safeguard worshippers and visitors alike during the upcoming services scheduled from March 29th to 31st.
