Sri lanka, Nov. 4 -- Kosmodara Police report that a 20-year-old son was arrested with seven T-56 live rounds, six T-56 empty casings, and a holster containing a pistol magazine while investigating a complaint that he assaulted his father.
The arrested youth is a 20-year-old involved in the boat industry in Kudawella. Police state he had not been to work for about two months.
Police said the stock of ammunition was found inside a steel cupboard when officers went to the relevant house to investigate the complaint made by the father.
Police also mentioned that the suspect's elder brother serves in the Army, and he has been informed to come forward to give a statement.
