Sri Lanka, April 20 -- The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) reported nearly 1.3 billion rupees in revenue between April 10 and 19.
There are several special bus services in operation to provide for persons returning from their ancestral homes following the Sinhala and Tamil New Year Holidays.
Accordingly, it is expected that revenues are expected to grow over the coming days.
Other special bus services are operational to facilitate travel for devotees going to the Siri Dalanda Wandana exposition in Kandy.
The SLTB said that 150 buses are in operation along the Colombo-Kandy road.
